| Xanga is dead. I've had an interesting summer so far, probably have had more days off than I've actually worked. But at least I have some work. Its kind of hard to get a job for the summer when you need to have six weeks off scattered throughout the middle of it. This last week marks the end of Pistons parties, so I don't know what the new summer activity will be. I've been frequenting Sami's get togethers at her Uncle Dave's for the last two weekends. Its dangerous though, both my phone and camera have met their untimely demise because of this, both having gone in the water though the camera survived the first instance and died due to being crushed on Friday. I got kicked (accidentally) in the mouth Fri night and my lip is purple, fat, and completely numb -still.
I've been really tired lately, not sure why, I haven't been keeping track of how much I've been sleeping at night. China is fast approaching and I'm not ready, I have 6 days now before I leave. **As seen in the GV Lanthorn** hehe, the GV Kung Fu club China trip is upon us. As the schedule stands we have two Kung Fu exchanges, meaning they will do some incredible demonstrations for us, followed by us doing a demo proving why we're the ones paying them for lessons. Good thing the Chinese are very polite and humble, in the U.S. the same situation I'm sure I'd get a snicker or two. Its just for fun though and as long as my knees and shoulders hold up I should have a great time. |

| I crashed a wedding reception this weekend :) I'll write more about it when I have time.
Edit:
So I guess I decided that I don't have time to update here :) The most I've bothered doing in a long while is putting pictures on facebook. So if you haven't heard about wedding crashing, it took several attempts before it succeeded and I ended up bringing two girls from a different reception to Pete's reception. So it was a pretty successful night up until Dan scared them off. Maurissa ended up serving tables for my parents, so I guess its good I didn't follow up on inviting her b/c she had to work.... for Pete's wedding. |
